This thermostat has three connections: one for a heating or cooling source, one with a timer, and one for a humidifier. Each of the three connections has its own circuit. It's ideal for use with two different heating sources, such as a UV lamp during the day and a ceramic lamp at night, or a heating source at night and a cooling source for hot summer days.
